Spend some time with us at the venue where we can discuss the details of your special day and arrange an event that best suits you. At this point you can book the day that you would like to host your wedding.
FULL SERVICE INTIMATE WEDDING

VENUE HIRE & SELF CATERING
We offer a Full Service intimate wedding for a maximum of up to 12 persons, which includes a seasonal harvest-board menu set to delight the tastebuds.
Included in the package is:
Use of Ceremony Aisle, The Terrace, Knot-Room and In Full Swing
Use of the Bridal Cottage for preparation for the Wedding. No overnight accomodation included, but can be booked at an additional cost.
A photoshoot across the forest is inclusive.
Setup of all decorations, including floral arrangements, ceremonial backdrop, lighting and decorative lighting, selection of furnishings, and other decorative elements
Non-alcoholic beverages and a harvest board-menu for a maximum of 12 persons, which can be served in a seated arrangement at our venues, or even setup between the trees as a picnic.
Use of restrooms and parking
Should you only choose to marry in a wedding ceremony in Knotwood Forest, without a reception or use of our other facilities, then the package includes:
Access to Knotwood Forest and use of Cermony Aisle for the Wedding
Use of the Bridal Cottage for preparation for the Wedding. No overnight accomodation included, but can be booked at an additional cost.

For those couples who would like to rent out our venue and utilize their own service providers for the decoration, florals, food etc., we can work together with you to understand your needs and how we can make it happen.
The venue rental would cover:

Use of the Bridal Cottage for preparation for the Wedding. No overnight accommodation included, but can be booked at an additional cost.

Any other provisions would be at an additional cost.
The Bridal Cottage can be rented for use in combination with any of the above Wedding Packages.
A per night fee for overnight accomodation in the cabin, with a maximum of a 2 night stay (one night prior to the wedding and for the evening of the wedding). The night rate includes the daytime use prior to the wedding if booked for the night of the wedding.
The Bridal Cottage only accommodates two people.
FOOD
Knotwood does not have a kitchen in the forest. Therefore, all foods have to be prepared offsite by yourself / your service provider. Bain Maries or food trucks can be used or you can appoint a caterer of your choice. Knotwood offers a delightful menu for an intimate wedding of a maximum of 12 guests.
FLORALS
Should you choose, we can “compose” your floral installations, bouquets, table vases etc. at an additional cost. We also offer confetti gathered and dried from our garden and the veld. Fresh herbs, such as lavender, lemon verbena and rosemary may be added, as well as freshly picked dainty flowers and petals. We grow a variety of trees offering lovely greenery too. Talk to us about your needs.
GUEST PARKING
There is ample parking at Knotwood for all guests. Please be advised that all roads are gravel or grass and vehicles with low ground coverage should be driven cautiously.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT KNOTWOOD
Knotwood Forest does not cater any alcoholic beverages. Should you require these, please cater for them yourself.
DJ, BAND AND MUSIC
Should you wish to have a DJ or Band, this needs to be organized by you.
We do not have a PA system or speakers, so this would also need to be provided by you.
POWER OUTLETS
We have various possibilities in terms of electricity connections around the venue. Let's discuss your needs and how we can make this happen.
TENTS AND CANOPIES:
We are an outdoor venue only! We have 2 x 4m x 6m canopies that can be hired and hoisted to cover the food and drinks tables or the dance floor.

10m x 15m coverage, 70 guests - R8.500
9m x 9m coverage, 40 guests - R5.500
6m x 9m coverage, 27 guests - R5.000
6m x 6m coverage, 18 guests - R4.500
